Egypt, Late Period, ca. 712 to 730 BCE. Bronze cast cat-headed Bastet, goddess of women and joy, wearing a sheath, holding aegis and basket and standing upon an integrally cast base. Beautiful green patina! Size: 3-7/8"H (10 cm).
