late 18th/early 19th century, nine pieces Aberdeen: set of six spoons with marks for Jason law, 1700s, monograms; two spoons with marks for James Gordon, 1766-1779; ladle, marks for John Sutherland, 1837-1840; four pieces Dumfries: two teaspoons with marks for Mark Hinschsliffe, 1820-1840; two teaspoons with marks for Joseph Pearson, 1794-1817; one spoon with marks for Donald Fraser, 1820s; seven with marks for Perth, R & R Keay: set of five teaspoons, marks for 1810, later monogram; ladle with shell handle; teaspoon with monogram; twelve with marks for Dundee: marrow scoop and tablespoon with marks for John Steven, 1750; spoon, maker possible William Scott I; two ladles, marks for David Manson, 1810; teaspoon, bright-cut engraving, maker "AR", probably Dundee, monogram, [wear to tip of bowl]; set of six teaspoons, lacking maker's mark, .925 fine, 37.90 oz. T., 5-1/8 in. to 8-7/8 in., all typical wear. Provenance: Private Collection
