(Walt Disney, 1959) Original vintage Disney Studio-prepared production setup of “Briar Rose” dancing with the “Mock Prince” on an Eyvind Earle forest background. Setup measures 14 x 11 in. seen through opening in 19.5 x 17.75 in. original Disney mat. Featuring outstanding images of “Briar Rose” and the “Owl”, with rabbits, squirrel, chipmunks and birds of every color. The production cels are trimmed and applied by Disney Studio. The background appears on-screen when we first see “Prince Phillip” and “Samson” in a close-up in the forest. Eyvind Earle forest backgrounds are the most desirable and sought after artwork from Sleeping Beauty. With a large 8 in. original “Walt Disney” signature at lower left corner of the mat.
