rare brass portrait lens engraved 'CHARLES-CHEVALIER Palais National, 158 Paris’, total height 10.5cm, front diameter: 5cm, with portrait and paysage lens, two paysages and one portrait aperture rings, slide front cap shutter (probably replaced), rear cap and very rare original padded leather case, everything in fine condition with very good lenses (few tiny scratches), Charles Chevalier (1804-1859) was the son of Vincent Chevalier (1771-1841), c.1851 -
