(MGM, 1960) Black two-piece outfit with varying patterns of black and white material patches with snap front closure. Gold lame two button short jacket with shawl collar, lined in ivory, coordinating pants with suspenders and front zip closure. Exhibits two patches. Gold lame collapsible top hat with gold sequin band. Well-worn around edges. Both outfits have MGM label handwritten, “HAL LINDEN 1760 485”. Designed by Walter Plunkett. Worn by Hal Linden as the “Singer” when he performs “The Midas Touch” at the nightclub in Bells Are Ringing.
