Description
Designed by James H. Bowen By the J & E Stevens Company Cromwell, Ct. - Circa 1890's The Harlequin bank is arguably the most colorful and animated bank ever created. For his composition, Bowen presents three theatrically attired figures on a silver and gold stage. This seems alarmingly simple, and yet, the effect is hauntingly elegant. It is Bowen's true masterpiece. Set the figures in position and place a penny between the Harlequin's legs. Press the lever and the clown spins the ballerina (Columbine) with great dexterity and poise. The coin drops into the stage. Material: Cast Iron
