MEISSEN FIGURINE - Large 19th - 20th c. Meissen Figure of Count Bruhl's Tailor Astride a Goat and wearing spectacles and tricorn hat. Modeled after a design by Johann-Joachim Kaendler; with blue crossed swords mark, inscribed "N107" and stamped "38"; professionally restored by Margaret Burnham of Nobleboro, Maine. 17" tall, 17" long, 8" deep. Multiple professional repairs and restorations, including rebuilt sash, glasses, right hand, one boot, and pin cushion.
