The Loring Andrews Co. Sterling Repoussé Candlesticks 

Cincinnati, late 19th-early 20th century. A pair of sterling silver candlesticks of baluster form, with all-over repoussé decoration consisting of flowers, scrolling leaves, birds, and castles, each having a removable bobeche and marked on the underside Sterling / The Loring Andrews Co. / Cincinnati / U.S.A. / 6; ht. 11.25 in., silver wt. 37.21ozt (1157.5g).

Although it is not certain, all evidence suggests that Loring Andrews was only a retailer of silver, and that most of their wares were made by Kirk and other Baltimore area silversmiths.
