The Guanyin is shown seated on a stand, with one feet resting upon a lotus flower and both hands holding a vase. She wears a gracefully loose robe exposing the ornate bead necklace on chest and her face is depicted with a benevolent expression. Her hair is tied into an artfully topknot. The zitan mandorla is delicately pierced and carved, and the zitan base is carved as double lotus base supported by a four-leg rectangular stand. 20th Century.
