This piece has light grime build up, and very slight yellowing in the pigment. There are several sections of the canvas where the canvas is visible beneath the paint - paint is not evenly covering. The exposure of canvas appears to be a stylistic choice by the artist. The canvas is most obvious in the upper right corner,a section of about 3"x 2", there are also line of exposed of exposed canvas above the city and in the bush to the right (painted scrapped away by artist. There are a few pin tip sized chips in the paint scattered through out the surface. The painting does not extend all the way to the edge of the canvas. There is a .5" margin around, where the frame sits.
