Description
Arizona, ca early 1900's. Old Eastern Reservation Serape Pattern Navajo Rug. Finely and tightly woven of silky handspun variegated native sheep wool, this early regional rug is purely Navajo in design, with no outside influences. The weaver's use of color in three small medallions is a whimsical touch - otherwise, the piece is un-dyed. 52" by 95"
