Description
Glazed and polychrome painted Faience. Cobalt Blue, Antimony Yellow, Copper Green and Manganese Violet (Mulberry) on White. Hunting dog chasing a deer. Original Pewter lid. Northern German in origin from the mid 1700's. Most likely Kellinghusen, but the "P"Marked on the underside may stand for Potsdam as well. Measurements: Approx. 10.5" high, 6.5" diameter with handle, 4.5" base diameter
Condition
Very Good, A small deformity on the lid, seen from the inside. Glaze crazing on the faience from the age.
