Mahogany & Gilt Bronze Mounted Empire Dressing Attr. Johannes Klinckerfuss (c.1815-1820). Fixed mahogany mirror frame with and arched top and gilt bronze pierced grapevine filigree around the border; turned teardrop side supports mounted on top with bronze winged cherubs standing on a globe, one holds a torch and the other holds a lantern, over leaf and floral bud caps. Supports have square bases connected by a leaf decorated collar, flat stretcher with filigree mount and downward scroll feet with rose and vine mounts. In very good condition and original finish, lantern is missing from the cherubs hand. 78.5 in. high x 45 in. wide x 25 in. deep.
