Item Details

Description

An Edwardian silver and leather mounted glass hip flask, with removable cup. Hallmarked Colen Hewer Cheshire, Chester 1904. Height 15.5cm.

Condition Report:

Item shows moderate surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
Date letter is visible to neck mount but is rubbed and illegible to cup.
Cup removes and re-attaches well.
Lid is very bashed and darkly tarnished.
Bayonet fixture is in good working order.
Silver is dull and dark, with dark tarnishing all over, and would benefit from a clean and polish.
Leather is aged and worn.
Glass is stained to interior edges, visible when cup removed.
Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
