Description
A 1930's Scottish silver quaich, of typical form with shaped handles, having central presentation engraving for British Empire Amateur Film Festival Glasgow 1938. Hallmarked maker's mark 'J B & S', Glasgow 1937. Length including handles 19cm, weight 6.8ozt (212.4g).
Condition Report:- Items show general surface scratches, marks, wear, with some dark tarnishing to interior base of bowl and below rim.
- An area of silver around the foot appears slightly uneven and bumpy.
- Seam lines of rim are visible to handles.
- Handles show some small nicks.
- Hallmarks are clear and legible.
