Description
Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo and Zuni, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A set of 2 leather bolo ties, each with a silver body of between 93.1% and 93.9% silver. The rectangular body is inlaid with turquoise strips and is signed "Roderick Kaskalla | Zuni" on the verso. The larger features an abstract avian motif on the front and is centered with a turquoise stone; the verso is stamped "Thomas Singer | Sterling". Size of largest (leather tie): 48.5" L (123.2 cm); (body): 2.35" W x 2.69" H (6 cm x 6.8 cm)
