MYSTERY ARTIST. Study of a Child's Head, 12" x 9-1/2" sight size pencil and/or charcoal (framed size: 19" x 16") signed/inscribed/dated lower right. The first part says A. Shay and in French (translation is: My Very Beautiful Friend) and then an illegible signature and then it appears to say Valentine? 2006?. The date somewhat perplexes me because it looks the drawing is older. Perhaps it was a gift for Valentine's Day and the illegible signature above that is the actual artist signature.
