Description
A YELLOW-GROUND GREEN-ENAMELLED 'FLORAL' DISH 18th/19th century Well-potted with gently rounded sides, the interior finely incised and painted in green enamel with a central medallion enclosing two blossoms borne on leafy branches within a narrow double-line border, encircled by four alternating flowering and fruiting sprays including peaches and pomegranates on the cavetto below another double-line border, the exterior similarly decorated with a band of flower scrolls, all reserved on a yellow ground of rich egg-yolk tone, the underside with an apocryphal Zhengde mark in underglaze blue. 30.2cm (11 7/8in) diam.
