Qing Dynasty period, China. The Guanyin figure carved from Shoushan Furong soapstone, ornated with small turquoise and coral. The Guanyin is seated, with two hands on the knee holding a scroll, the face with benevolent features. Includes Sotheby's New York Lot 338 tag. Condition: Good.
