About the sculptor: Yuri Shevyakov is a sculptor, medalist, artist of decorative and applied arts.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine NSXU and the International Federation of Artistic Medals FIDEM. Since 2009, FIDEM delegate in Ukraine. In 2008 he was a participant of the international project “Ukraine in the III thousand years. Traditions. Інnovatsії. Investments ". He was awarded the "Honorable Viznannya" Suspilne Viznannya for a significant contribution to the national history of Ukraine. The name is included in the catalog “Osobistst ІІІ Thyachyachyolittya. National leaders of Ukraine ". In 2009, he was a participant of the National Program "Mystetsky Olimp of Ukraine". Awarded with a diploma "For significant contribution to the development of culture and art of Ukraine. Listed in the catalog "Mystetsky Olimp of Ukraine".
Yuri Ivanovich was born in Donetsk. Graduated from Donetsk Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Automation and Electrification of Underground Mining. Since 1988 he worked as director of the art-production plant of the Union of Artists of the USSR in Zhdanov (Mariupol).
He began his active creative activity in 1987. with participation in the II-nd Republican exhibition of sculpture in Kiev. Participated in more than 30 all-Ukrainian art exhibitions, as well as exhibitions held in the cities of Ukraine.
