Ancient Near East / Western Asia, Persia (Iran), Nishapur or Kashan, ca. late 10th century to early 13th century CE. A hand-built pottery plate covered in turquoise-hued glaze, with an elaborate helical pattern within the basin, all accentuated with petite spots of black pigment. Size: 6.875" W x 1.5" H (17.5 cm x 3.8 cm)

Condition
Repair to small area of rim, with chipping and very light adhesive residue along break lines. Abrasions and fading to glaze in scattered areas, with light earthen deposits, and a few petite chips to glaze within basin, otherwise in great condition. Nice preservation to basin decorations, and nice iridescence throughout.
