Frame dimensions 26 1/4 x 32 1/4 in.
William Wolk was a noted American Realist painter. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy and The Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. In 1984, Wolk founded his one-man gallery, The William Wolk Gallery of Fine Art, at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. He was well known for his animal, landscape and still life paintings. He was also a sought after portrait painter, including a commission to paint Sam Snead for the USGA Museum and a portrait of George W. Bush that entered into the presidential collection.
