32.5 x 28-56 cm. Execution: Heinrich Pfannstiel, Weimar, arts and crafts workshop for the production of cut, embossed and hallmarked leather work. Brown full-leather binding with book-cut ornaments, inside and flaps covered with paper. Front with stylized floral center, owner's signet RHM in a square standing on top. Another signet on the back. Marked: artist signet, signet of H. Pfannstiel, Weimar.
Condition
Provenance: Former research associate at the National Research and Memorial Sites for Classical Literature in Weimar, gifted to a friend from whom the consignor acquired it.
