. The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful with some smudging throughout. The leather trim is clean with some water spots, scuffing and areas of soiling. The handles show rubbing and has a rough texture. The shoulder strap is clean with some light rubbing. The hardware is bright and crisp with protective plastic on three of the bottom metal feet. The interior lining has some red stains and signs of rubbing and wear throughout.
