A Chinese Guan type crackle glaze, dating from the Ming Dynasty, deep recessed oval foot raised to pear shaped body flanked with a pair of tubular lug handle, covered overall in a thick grayish glaze suffused with an irregular network of thin black crackles and golden threads

Provenance: Ex- Collection of Jutta & Seigfried Weishaupt, by repute, Oriental Ceramic Society , 1953 Exhib'N label on bottom

Condition: in good overall condition with a glaze flake to the rim, firing imperfection to the rim and handle such as glaze pop and uneven glaze
