Rolex made the 'MilSub' as a direct order for the British Military through the Ministry of Defence. These were made with specific enhancements that set them apart from their civilian equivalent. As these watches were 'tool watches' in the truest sense of the word, they were often repaired with service parts and in many cases heavily damaged during their years of use. The current model has had the fixed bars removed in order to accommodate a stainless steel bracelet, been fitted with a replacement bezel marked 15 minutes not 60 and the military markings have been removed from the case back.
Condition
Movement: Runs when powered
Dial: Luminous markers have aged attractively, some light marks in places

Case: Surface scratches throughout, military numbers have been polished off of case back, fixed bars have been cut and drilled to accept standard spring bars, later civilian bezel with 15 minute hash marks
Strap/Bracelet: Later, stretched, surface scratches consistent with use, measures approximately 180mm, 580 endpieces, 93150 bracelet
