Description
This cross-shaped medallion from the early 20th century elegantly combines motifs of protection and piety. The front features a central cross surrounded by circular inscriptions, including "CRUX VIRGIN" on the outer edge, suggesting a focus on the Cross of the Virgin Mary. This side may carry a protective prayer or invocation, linking Marian devotion with safeguarding the faithful. The reverse portrays Saint Benedict, depicted in monastic robes, holding a staff and a book, with a raven by his feet, and encircled by the inscription "S. P.
