Wax lined canvas. Minor frame abrasion near center of right edge. Some yellowing to varnish layer. Finely patterned craquelure throughout. A few scattered small dots of surface abrasion and discolored accretion. Mild surface dirt and dust. Not examined out of frame due to size.
Under UV: heavily applied varnish fluoresces blue/green. Brushy retouching along upper and right edges. Additional small dots and dashes of more finely applied retouching scattered throughout. Some apparent strengthening applied to red/orange pigments throughout.
