A mid Victorian 18ct gold bloodstone signet ring, engraved with a posy between two horns issuing from a ducal coronet, likely for a line of the Swedish Rosenhane family.Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1866. Ring size Q1/2. 4.8gms.
Condition
Scratches and small marks. Traces of gilt finish remain.Moderate wear to the engraving.Band resized, various lines of discolouration and slight pitting.Bloodstone shows frits and nicks to the edge, general surface scratches.Length of ring head 1.4cms.
