Named after the 'rue de Capucines' in Paris, where Louis Vuitton opened his first store in 1854, the Capucines PM bag is timeless and elegant. Paying homage to the history of superb craftsmanship that the house of Louis Vuitton is known for, the Capucines has refined details such as jewel-inspired rings at the base of the semi-rigid handle that has subtle Louis Vuitton engraved round studs. The distinctive flap can be worn two ways, outside to reveal the outline of a subtle Monogram flower, or inside to show the simple yet elegant Louis Vuitton initials. The interior opens to reveal luxurious leather lining and a spacious interior that offers two compartments. The exterior leather has some rubbing and light scuffing along the opening and to the leather covered LV logo. There are some small stains throughout the body of the bag. The glazing along the opening has some rubbing, soiling and cracking. The shoulder strap is clean but has creasing from the buckle. The top handle has some rubbing and a couple small stains to the underside. The hardware is bright but has scuffing and fading to the centers of the bottom metal feet. The interior has rubbing, scuffing and some pen marks to the leather lining.
