Original 1970's, Exquisite Alexis Barthelay Wrist Watch, an iconic piece characterized by an elegant, unique, absolutely chic yet timeless design, watch case and chain bracelet are handwelded and carefully engraved: this piece is fully functional, in excellent conditions with no traces of wear(as new!); it fits perfectly to all wrists measuring about 7.50 inches(19.5cm). We love its precious 1.37OzT handcrafted, engraved silver chain bracelet and its sapphire cabochon on the crown! Still in its original wooden case.
A.B. and Crab (800/1000 Silver French Mark) on the case back and Manufacturer Lozenge on the bracelet.

Alexis Barthelay founded his eponimous brand in the 1930's in Place Vendome and soon came to be known for high jewelry and watches as well.
In the past Barthelay's Atelier created watches for jewelry brands such as Cartier and Van Cleef.
Barthelay, now part of Frank Muller's watchland group, is known for creating haute gamme watches combining unusual material with stylish refined design.
