Sixth plate ambrotype of a black lab dog, 19th century. Dog is portrayed candidly seated on the floor next to a rug and several pieces of furniture. Case with gilt decoration and embossed floral paper design. Front cover detached. Photograph with several light scratches and some craquelure. Overall: 3.75 x 3.25in. This lot is part of a larger collection of ambrotypes and daguerreotypes also found in this auction.
