WMF Glass Art Vase by Erich Jachmann
Pictured is a striking and heavy art vase in deep bottle green graduating to glowing amber. The vase has a narrow mouth and ovoid body optic cut with a series of angled oval concave lenses.
Condition: minor age and surface wear; nothing further found - 1950s or 60s, designed by Erich Jachmann for WMF.
Dimensions approx 8in tall, 5in wide weight 5.2lb.

More info: The Württembergische Metallwaren Fabrik, called WMF, was the largest manufacturer of glass and household goods made of metal in Germany. From the tradition of art glass studios, e.g. WMF IKORA, the vase series comes from designs by Erich Jachmann, a former employee of Wilhelm Wagenfeld.
