Canton, circa 1840-1870; the pieces featuring shaped handles decorated with various scenes of figures within outdoor and courtyard landscapes rendered in low relief against a stippled ground; (71) pieces total to include: (12) forks (7 7/8 in.); (12) salad or luncheon forks (7 in.); (20) teaspoons (5 1/2 in.); (12) oval bowl soup spoons (7 1/8 in.); (12) tablespoons (8 3/4 in.); a pair of tongs; a master salt spoon with gold wash bowl; and a large fish slice with reticulated fish decoration to blade (12 1/2 in.); all without monograms, presented in a fitted wood case.
