Vintage Mixed Green Stone Mod Abstract Necklace, 20"-22": Serpentine, Jade(ite) & More, 1990's. This has a pendant that is a composite material with stone and perhaps clay or resin. It is black with shades of green and a little rust and white. It is appx. 2" by 1.5" with a round open 5/8" circle at top where a silver tone wrap is created and forms the bail. Off to the leff of that is a 3.5" curved staggered ridged curved metal piece that is appx. 1/2" to 1". Above the pendant is an oval serpentine bead that is appx. 1-1/8" long and 3/4" wide. There are four beads that are appx. 14mm round and test as jade/jadeite. There is also a round green and brown stone that is appx. 20mm that is some type of agate or natural stone. There are two faceted black beads and three stacks of purple/blue coating over a bead under the pearly coating. These are done primatively to mimic Tahitian pearl there is some opening int he caoting on some of the bads but really not noticed unless you are hold the piece and looking closely at it. At the end of the chain there is also a stack of three of these and they are appx. 15mm wide. The metal from the last bead to the clasp is a black painted metal. This piece is not marked or signed - it is interesting in that it is a mix of natural stones, enhanced stones, and composite with a very different look but a great look for the right person - very artsy.
