Obv: Fourth portrait, Elizabeth II facing right, crowned with the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, IRB below truncation for designer Ian Rank-Broadley. Rev: Kew Gardens Pagoda encircled by a vine, 1759 - 2009 either side. S. H19. Brilliant Uncirculated, offered in its original, unopened, Royal Mint packaging.
The circulating 2009 'Kew Gardens' 50 pence has one of the lowest mintages across the entirety of circulating British coinage with just 210,000 coins issued, by comparison, the 2008 and 2010 50 pence issues have a mintage of 26,247,000 and 7,410,090 respectively - this Brilliant Uncirculated example has a mintage of just 128,364 making it a true modern rarity.
