The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is discolored and has a yellow tint with faint marks and a few stains left by the glazing. The base of the bag has scratches and the metal feet has fading. The leather has developed a honey patina with creasing and soiling. The glazing shows wear throughout. The hardware is bright and shiny with fine hairline scratches. The interior is clean and in very good condition.
