This vintage Japanese pottery pitcher dates from the early 20th century & is wonderfully hand modeled. It's surface features vividly tinted colors within the raised slip work. A magnificently detailed red dragon decorates almost the entire body of the pitcher & is positioned against a stunning & colorful stylized lotus petals background. The pitcher has a flared & draped lip that compliments the sculpted scarf handle. No makers mark is found. There is no damage &/or repairs & the pitcher is in excellent condition.12" tall X 7 1/4" wide X 7 1/4"deep
