Vintage Sterlng Southwestern Created Inlaid Opal and Black Pendantm 2.25" Unisex, Signed With an inverted V and marked sterling and tested. Weight is appx. 11.25 gr. This is a 1-1/8" square with scrolled engravings (could also be considered a very chunky cross). In the cwenter is a bezel-set inlaid oval of synthetic/creatic fire opal in vibrant gree/blue/orange with black inlaid areas as well - I do not believe the black os onyx. The oval is appx. 1" by just under 3/4" wide. Geometric pattern of angels, triangles and sterling lines . The bail is a large wide bail with an opening of appx. 14mm tall and 9mm wide. This has a Zuni theme but unsure who the maker's mark is. Age is estimated at 1980's-1990's. Very good condition - some lilght expected surface wear. A similar design was recently sold in an auction for $175 - also synthetic opal. (KTY.9X5 SS8540 J LD 9/26/22).
