Vntage Double-Sided Painted MOP Necklace 20", Likely Russian. This necklace has a silver tone rope accent frame with swing bail. The mother-of-pearl is domed and teardrop haped and is 2.5" long and 1.5" wide. It is not marked or signed but has the look of the Russian lacquere painted brooches with clear lacquer with birds and flowers on one side in a color design and on the reverse are men on horses playing polo with the typical look of the Russian pieces with the animals having thin legs. Lacquereis also covering the pendant. Age is unknown but estimated at 1970's and after. The pendant is on a 2mm black leather-like round cord that is 18" long plus an addition 2" silver tone extender chain with lobster clasp for a total of 20". Very good condition with only very light wear. Itis not signed or marked. (W1723.6 SS9347 J LD 1/22/23),
