Left side of the bbl. is marked "45 CALIBER", with "SMITH & WESSON/ 125TH ANNIVERSARY" marked on the right. Right side of frame is marked "SMITH & WESSON/ 1852 . 1977" above the S&W trademark logo (which is flanked by 2 foliate motifs) and "125 YEARS" within a banner/ Frame, cyl., and bbl. exhibit blue finish, with the trigger grooved trigger and checkered hammer exhibiting a case color hardened finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece S&W medallion smooth wood grips. Serrated blade front sight with adj. square notch rear sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory cardboard box containing a copy of "125 Years with Smith & Wesson" by Roy G. Jinks, an S&W revolver box, as well a commemorative display case featuring a blue velvet interior and containing the commemorative lid plaque, the key, as well as a commemorative coin. CONDITION: near new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes, exhibiting a thin layer of what appears to be factory grease overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent overall. Display case is en suite.
