Description
BY TEXAS TANNING COMPANY. This holster is described on pg. 465 & an Ordnance Department drawing of this holster is on page 467 of Russet leather shoulder holster in a "U.S. MILITARY HOLSTERS AND RELATED ACCOUTREMENTS" by Edward Scott Meadows. The holster is also mentioned in "OSS WEAPONS II" 2nd Edition by Dr. John W. Brunner. The holster is made of Russet leather with one reinforcement rivet near top & has adjustment strap. White canvas chest strap. Holster comes in cardboard box marked "HOLSTER, SHOULDER/CAL. 32&380 COLT/1095-141-9494". CONDITION: holster in near excellent condition. Box in very good condition with light wear. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Edward Scott Meadows. (02-22135/MD). $200-300.
