Description
"The Foot Book" written and illustrated by Dr. Seuss, Bright and Early Books for Beginning Beginners published by Random House, 1968; "6-J" printing (1993). Stated Grolier Book Club Edition. The "Beginner Books / I Can Read It All By Myself" with the Cat in the Hat logo was a book club for the early readers founded by Dr. Seuss himself (Theodor Seuss Geisel). The Bright & Early Book series is an off-shoot of Beginner Books. Bright & Early Books use fewer words and are written for beginning beginner readers. They are ideal for children ages 2-5.
Illustrated hard boards; 6.1/4" x 8.3/4"; illustrated endpapers, former owner's label on the ‘owner's token [see photo]; unpaginated, 30 pages, fully illustrated, some wear and a few page corner folds, very good condition.
