Grouping of sporting and hunting objects including: a worn pair of vintage military binoculars probably WWII; A Ranger gun cleaning kit; a powder horn missing wooden base; ; a swordfish bill with losses on 1 end; and a 19th century leather shot flask. Descended from the Reverend James Johnson family, Easton CT (Reverend Johnson, 1734-1810, graduate of Yale University). The Reverend Johnson homestead was constructed in 1760 and has been in the same family for over 7 generations. He was the first minister of the Congregational Church of Easton a position which he held for 40 years. The item(s) identified here, were once owned by the Reverend or a descendant.
