Provenance: Private Collection
Note: The Royal Mint Museum, just outside of Cardiff, has in its collection a pattern produced by Edward Onslow-Ford depicting Queen Victoria in 80 mm format. Ford apparently submitted some quantity of trials just after the 1887 Jubilee celebration in vain attempt to have at least one of his designs considered. Ultimately, none of his proposed patterns were selected for circulating coinage of the Realm.
