Lutheran theologian and author Adam Rechenberg wrote a commentary on the Augsburg Confession in the seventeenth century. This book, commonly referred to as "Concordia," described the adoption and significance of one of the foundational texts of the Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Reformation. This 1698 book contains a printing of the well-known Augsburg Confession, which may be found in comparable Reformation histories.
