Henry Bosse (German/American, 1844-1903). Cyanotype photograph titled "Broken Closing Dam in Shokokon Slough," depicting a figure sitting on wooden posts next to a break in a river dam, 1891. From the series "Views on the Mississippi River." Titled and dated below the image.

Condition
There is a light crease along the lower right corner. Several frits or minute tears along the edges. One small loss along the upper right corner; another small loss along the upper center edge. Toning throughout, more so along the extreme edge. Some light foxing throughout. Light blue discolorations throughout the sheet, possibly original to the artistic production. Pencil inscriptions along the verso. The work is not framed.
