Large Chinese Blanc De Chine Dehua Porcelain Standing Figure of Guanyin. The deity is finely modeled, standing and draped in long flowing robes. The robes are open at the chest, revealing beaded jewelry, and cascade down to the rockwork plinth. Her feet are exposed, and her hands are folded in front inside her sleeves. Her face shows a contemplative expression beneath a finely molded tiara and hood, which are covered in a creamy white glaze. The back of the figure is impressed with a double gourd form maker's mark. {Height 19 1/2 inches (49.5 cm)}. Condition: Hairlines, and repaired marks.
