Item Details
Description
Ornate cast brass hilt with eagle and shield clamshell guard connecting to an ornate knuckle bow. Blued blade with gilt and federal eagle still retaining 75% of finish with some mottled areas. Finely engraved brass scabbard that has a fold crease at center of scabbard with rip edges, also impact dings throughout. Hilt is missing both grips. A worthy sword for restoration. Blade measures 33" x 13/16" and overall length of sword is 38"
