Description
2 Native American pictures - one appears to be a reproduction on glass of a famous photo of Northern Cheyenne leader Laban Little Wolf taken by Edward S. Curtis. 4-5/8" square image. The other picture is of Xunka Kuciyedano (Low Dog), and Oglala Sioux chief who fought alongside Sitting Bull at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Image is 5" x 7". He gave one of the most detailed accounts to be published of the battle from the Native American perspective, and is one of those apocryphally credited with the famous battle cry "Today is a good day to die". This lot also has two animal pelts (not made from tourists), on one side marked as "Great Smoky Mts." with cartoons.
